Chenxi Yang is a nationally certified and state board licensed acupuncturist, Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology of NCCAOM. Born into a traditional Chinese medicine family, She began her training as the 3rd generation practitioner at the age of 12.
After extensive studies at the Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China since 1980, she graduated with a master's degree in 1987. That same year, she was employed as an resident physician by the Chinese-Western Medicine Department of the Yunnan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. Later on she was promoted from attending physician to the role of chief physician at the Acupuncture Department of the same hospital.

After practicing acupuncture and chinese herb medicine over ten years, she moved to Austin, Texas, United States to participate in a series of research studies on acupuncture treatment and the after-effects of head trauma. Her work in the study gained her a Honorary Citizen of the City of Austin from the Mayor of Austin and a Honorary Citizen of the State of Texas from the Governor of Texas in 1997.

Since decades of practice in the field of traditional  Chinese medicine, Chenxi Yang has successfully assisted her patients in maintaining overall physical as well as mental health improvement and mental, and emotional, and spiritual disorders over her 35 years career and has helped thousand of patients with an array of conditions.
